Counseling

We provide mental health counseling by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support clients socially and emotionally as they adapt to the changes that they may face during the recovery period. Biofeedback, Psychoeducation, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)  are commonly used in treatment sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

This is a type of treatment that can help with a variety of problems. There is research supporting the use of CBT for depression, anxiety disorders, substance use problems, and improving overall quality of life.

The CBT approach is based on the idea that psychological problems are based, in part, on faulty or unhelpful ways of thinking and learned patterns of unhelpful behavior. People who are struggling with psychological problems can learn how to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and develop better ways of coping to improve their quality of life.
